Cold Cuts Records is a premier production and engineering suite led by Tae, a Chicago-based audio professional specializing in vocal production, mixing, and artist development.

The Origin Story

Tae’s obsession with the craft began in a home studio built by his mother,
April Rayne. This space quickly became a sanctuary for creativity and a training ground for professional excellence.

It was here that Tae had the opportunity to collaborate with industry veterans like Grammy-winning artist P. Jericho.

Through their mentorship, Tae learned that music is more than just sound; it is a vital form of creative therapy and a vehicle for personal expression.

From High School to High Fidelity

The entrepreneurial spark hit early. While still in high school, Tae began producing and recording local talent, including J-$quared, King Rob, and Vello Marciano. These early sessions laid the foundation for his "artist-first" philosophy: understanding that every performer has a unique story that deserves to shine.

Expertise & Evolution

To ensure every project meets industry standards, Tae is currently refining his technical expertise at In-Studio.

He is training under the mentorship of Paul Murphy, a veteran whose credits include HBO, Xbox 360, and the Chicago Cubs.

By combining years of hands-on experience with high-level technical training, Tae provides artists with a professional, polished sound that doesn't lose its soul.
